Hello ActiveRain and Good Morning from Vegas Bob

Well Robert Vegas Bob Swetz is bright eyed and bushy tailed this morning and even on the first day of his vacation to the Midwest.

Vegas Bob usually gets up at 4:50am every morning to prepare for working on a construction job in Santa Clara California.

So whether Vegas Bob is working his construction job, enjoying the weekend and or on vacation he is always up in the very early AM.

And why might one ask is Vegas Bob up at such early hours of the day? Well first of all because by about 8-9-10pm in the evenings he falls asleep, and Vegas Bob continues to believe that the "Early Bird Catches the Worm" ...

Vegas Bob is going to post some new material to the ActiveRain network, pack a few things for his trip to Minnesota and be on his way by 10:00am.

Have a wonderful day everyone and Vegas Bob will be taking photographs of Minnesota on his visit this week into next.

My dad always was an early riser since he had to be at work at 6:30am. Like you he was ready for bed 8-9 at night. I am more of a night owl.

VB, my husband also gets up around 4:30am. He goes down to the exercise room and walks 3 miles on the treadmill. When I get up, he has had his breakfast and reading a book usually.  Have a great day!!

Bob, these might even inspire me to get up early!  Most of my sun shots are sunsets.  Both of yours are just stunning.

Hello Pat

Thanks for stopping by my friend and can you keep a secret?

Both of these photos were taken at sunset with a Nikon D90 35 mm camera, and a macro lens.

The trip was to to zoom in on the subjects from a very far distance with the sun setting in the background, which in turn created the beautiful orange color behind the dark black subject!
