Staples.....it always takes twice

I have an Epson Printer. It uses ink more than I use energy. I go relatively local for ink but it always requires a return visit the same day. Either the ink is mismatched or the price is off. I had an email before I went the first time guaranteeing a special price for colored ink. At the store it was more and when I asked them to price match their own site they did. When I returned home there was a second email for black ink which I purchased also. So back to the store where they checked and honored that price as well. It shouldn't require two trips, and if they have pricing online the store should have it too.

One of my pet peeves is the cost of printer ink.  It simply should cost the amount that it does.

Interesting, Sheila. I always buy my ink on-line at Staples as that's the only way I can obtain it unless I go directly to Lexmark. Had no idea some stores price differently on-line versus in-store.

I really get frustrated with my printer. It is an ink jet and I plan to buy a laser printer next time.

Good morning Sheila.  I have a printer where the small cartridges that came with it lasted me for a year.  Next time just wait another day or two and make it a one time trip.  LOL

Good morning Sheila.  By the time you've made all these trips to the store, you've probably spent as much gas as you saved from the discounts.  They should have to pay for their mistakes.

I'll tell ya, I've had more luck buying toner and ink online through Staples.com than in the store.  And they do overnight shipping free if you are a Staples Rewards program member.
