Thank You For The Referral - My Raving Fan!

By
Real Estate Agent with Front Gate Real Estate Broker 11085

My phone rang and the pleasant voice at the other end said "Ms Starnes?", to which I hesitantly replied "Yes". Realtors receive telemarketing calls on a daily basis and THIS call sounded suspicously like someone wanting to sell me the next best website, Google or Yahoo placement, or real estate gizmo or gadget.“Telephone” by Danilo Rizzuti

"I got your name from Mr. Johnson."

Sounds suspect, but the caller continues:

"You helped him buy his house and were so helpful that I told him I wanted HIS agent when it came time to sell my house. I'm calling to schedule an appointment."

If I haven't said it lately, MY CLIENTS ROCK! My business thrives on word of mouth and repeat business, and THIS KIND OF CALL MAKES MY DAY!

Thank you Mr. Johnson for recommending me to your friends.

I will take good care of them. You have my personal guarantee!

I REALLY have to agree with Belinda Spillman! You can surely expect the unidentifiable phone number as being someone who wants a bite of your latest commission.

Yes, our clients can rock! Bless their hearts!

Love those calls, Pat. By the way, your first clue that this wasn't a spam caller was that they called you Ms. Starnes... the telemarkets always call you by your first name and typically can't pronounce it!

Belinda Spillman - Almost daily! In fact, I succumbed to one last week. I should have known better. Prefer personal referrals SO much more!

Sussie Sutton - The telemarketers are getting smarter by cloning our area codes. That way, you think it might be a new prospect... Yes, LOVE my clients!

Nina Hollander - Oh, you're right! I didn't think about that. Especially with a last name like "Starnes" or "Hollander". :)

If only we all got a lot of those types of crank callers.  Good work does get rewards.  Very good to you.
