You never know what words might be released from a client's lips until you listen carefully to the questions posed. People harbor all sorts of ideas that might not always occur to a person in the real estate profession who deals with many aspects of the business day-in and day-out. Just goes to show that a great deal of mistrust is evident, and little gets more personal with a home seller than the home inspection.
Even when buyers are not trying to squeeze every last dime out of a seller and attempting to renegotiate price and terms mid-point in the transaction, like some out-of-control buyers seem to be doing in Sacramento, sellers are upset enough over the results of a home inspection.
It helps to put yourself into their shoes. Then you will understand how they can ask if a home inspector is creating a new job for herself or himself in the home inspection report. You can read more in my personal blog today at this link: Can a Home Inspector in Sacramento Make Repairs?
