In the metro Atlanta market we have not seen the normal slowdown we get at this time of year. In fact residential real estate sales are still going strong. Both traditional and investor sales are still going strong. Many new houses are going up as builders are putting up both commercial and residential buildings. Lots of resales for new first time buyers. Many fixer uppers for investors to buy fix and resell.
People are concerned or worried about the upcoming presidential election, but the results may be higher sales in our market. So many people are concerned what will happen that they are buying now. We have even seen a pickup in commercial sales.
New rules seem to always come with a new administration. So with the proposed tax increases coming in 2017 and the deficit being so high many people are buying now. What do you think? I would like to know your opinion.
We live in a country where we have a right to vote. There is no other country or nation is like ours. Make sure whatever your beliefs you go vote. I prefer to be an optimist. Whatever happens our great country can survive and prosper. Let us help make this country great by doing what we can do working, selling, building, repairing, growing, learning, voting and promoting.
