Single clear day between storms - Construction Crews Hustling

With the heavy rains, this fall, many Sandpoint Idaho projects, both city and private, are being rushed to get work buttoned up to a point that the winter weather will not due damage to already completed work.

Enjoy the short YouTube video showing some of the hustling crews and work:

Following the day I took the videos we had torrential rains for about 24 hours straight.  While not as hard, we are expecting another storm Monday after cloudy skies for the weekend.  Good hustle Sandpoint Construction Crews!

Mark Don McInnes, Sandpoint - Sandpoint Construction Crews ARE quite amazing! Talk about hustling to beat the weather and accommodate the needs of the people, this crew is going above and beyond to get the work done.

You did an excellent job on the video Mark! I get the feeling this is a Community that works together, stays together, and supports each other in numerous ways and when emergency strikes, no one sits around a table trying to vote on whose ideas work best before making a decision - they all agree to work together to resolve the problem. If only our government worked that way...

Must be the same storm systems that have hit us of late. I too loved the video and  your great narrative. Well done, Mark.

Getting things ready for the winter is definitely important.  Glad the crews are getting stuff done while they can.

We are needing rain so badly. The last of the grass is crunchy and dry. I bet you would like to share some of what you have been getting.

Mark,  We are happy to receive any rain you get that you do not want.  Ideally it won't all come at once.  That just creates flooding.

I think it is fascinating how construction crews schedule work and often get it done between storms.  I'm seeing some of that go on in my own neighborhood.

Debbie Reynolds and Kathleen Daniels I am not complaining about the rain, especially after the fires of just the season before this last.  And even some well drillers had stated in their years of experience had never had wells run dry.  So I will gladly take the rain.  Thank you for stopping by and wishing you big storms as well.  mark

Hi,  Mark Don McInnes, Sandpoint.   I know little about the state of Idaho even though my granddaughter lives in Lewiston, ID.;   I did Google the Idaho map and looks like  she is 160 miles south of you in Sandpoint. Interesting post:  torrential rains?!?  Your video certainly showed the great jobs done by the construction crews.
