What motivates you every day? The real estate business is one that demands motivated participants, or the life span of those participating will be short. Motivation can come from within or from others.
My motivation to “compete and beat” is derived from within and from my observation of what others are doing. I’m always observing what others are doing, and I love to play “the game.” The game of competing via marketing.
Let’s admit it. Agents pay attention to how other agents in their area are marketing to promote themselves. I dig to find the stats that work best for us and are most powerful. I market our real estate office stats; our team stats; and individual stats that project a powerful statement.
Do you tread lightly? Do you walk that path at all? We are in a survival of the fittest business. When we shout out what we do compared to others who attempt to do the same but with different results, people pay attention.
People like to do business with successful people. How will they know how successful you are unless you tell them and show them who you left in the dust. This is business, and only one agent will win.
Our mailing landed yesterday and two listing calls came in today. More will come soon. Some will come in the near future. A few will come in the distant future. The bottom line is business comes to those who promote themselves. Not everyone feels comfortable doing this.
The more phone calls that come in, the more comfortable I feel!!!
