I've Been To Heaven And Back

By
Real Estate Agent with DFW FINE PROPERTIES 0506509

Heaven is under our feet as well as

over our heads --- Henry David Thoreau

I found Heavens Peak at Glacier National Park in Montana the last week in September through the first week in October 2016. The mountains swept me off my feet and I reached for the stars in search of solitary moments. Respectfully, I make time to honor and celebrate nature's beauty here on earth.

Imagine all the possibilities, the untapped potential, the wholeness never achieved... Heavens Peak is a source of energy and a healing of the body, mind, and soul for our deliberate failures for not trying or giving up too easily. We should ask for forgiveness for everything that is broken or flawed with ourselves first, before trying to change or blame others. The rock is my altar, a place of worship and adoration.

Character develops itself

in the stream of life - Joahann Wolfgang von Goethe

I go to the mountains to find the meaning and purpose of life's existence; to become more fulfilled, holistic, kinder, and gentler to myself.

Life is like Heavens Peak - various stages of existence from childhood through adulthood with all it's predictable and unpredictable stages of maturity. Every step we take is developmental with parts that are scary, happy, challenging, and forever growing. We need to make time to celebrate and express gratitude for the many successes we achieved.

From the top of the mountain, I see an image of the person I was meant to be while my emotions run high trying to catch my breath. All the while, energy flows from my head to my toes. There is so much more energy and life within me if only I stop more often to give thanks without whining and complaining. I can do it because Heaven is all around.

Patricia,

We look for heaven everywhere...it is surprising what we can find.  I saw so many pieces of heaven on our walk this morning, and we plan on finding more this evening, as we walk again.  Life is heaven's banquet.  Happy Sunday,  A

We recently spent a week in Colorado, hiking and enjoying all the splendid gifts of Fall in the mountains. It sounds as if we had a similar experience. Thanks for sharing, Patricia. Only you could capture the power of the moment in words.

I fully believe a little bit of heaven can be found most anywhere.  I had a similar thought in a grocery store that opened up recently in my neighborhood.  It is international in flavor, and had every kind of chili imaginable, and also exotic dried flowers that could be steeped into tea.  I felt a lot of heaven there.

Myrl Jeffcoat - I enjoyed your feedback very much. Almost immediately I was transcended to the old House on the Prairie show. Those episodes to the General Store where anything and everything looked interesting and people had to shop wisely while experiencing new flavors and things they didn't have must have been so important. Plus, the trip alone to get there was like going on vacation.

That feeling of heaven all around us would deepen if every experience was a meaningful journey and not a frenzy. I thought deeply about your new grocery store and realized why I don't like going to malls or Walmarts.
