Heaven is under our feet as well as
over our heads --- Henry David Thoreau
I found Heavens Peak at Glacier National Park in Montana the last week in September through the first week in October 2016. The mountains swept me off my feet and I reached for the stars in search of solitary moments. Respectfully, I make time to honor and celebrate nature's beauty here on earth.
Imagine all the possibilities, the untapped potential, the wholeness never achieved... Heavens Peak is a source of energy and a healing of the body, mind, and soul for our deliberate failures for not trying or giving up too easily. We should ask for forgiveness for everything that is broken or flawed with ourselves first, before trying to change or blame others. The rock is my altar, a place of worship and adoration.
Character develops itself
in the stream of life - Joahann Wolfgang von Goethe
I go to the mountains to find the meaning and purpose of life's existence; to become more fulfilled, holistic, kinder, and gentler to myself.
Life is like Heavens Peak - various stages of existence from childhood through adulthood with all it's predictable and unpredictable stages of maturity. Every step we take is developmental with parts that are scary, happy, challenging, and forever growing. We need to make time to celebrate and express gratitude for the many successes we achieved.
From the top of the mountain, I see an image of the person I was meant to be while my emotions run high trying to catch my breath. All the while, energy flows from my head to my toes. There is so much more energy and life within me if only I stop more often to give thanks without whining and complaining. I can do it because Heaven is all around.
