Quick Halloween Safety Tips

Wherever you decide to spend your Halloween night, safety should always come first.  First of all, never let your child trick-or-treat alone.  Parents or other responsible adults should always accompany minors.  Next, make sure vehicles can see your children.  Have them carry flashlights, wear reflective clothing or add glow-in-the-dark decals or jewelry to their costumes.  Then, forgo masks for face paint.  Wear comfy shoes.  A big part of Halloween involves walking around.  Finally, plan your route ahead of time.  Let other family members staying at home know exactly where you plan to go throughout the evening.

Have fun.  Stay safe.  Try one of these Reno trick-or-treat alternatives if you are particularly worried about your child's safety.  Happy Halloween!
