You Need to Learn from Other's Success & Failures
When I started my real estate business, I knew early on that I would need to study what other real estate agents did and how they handled not only their business, but more importantly, how they handled the roadblocks they ran into.
I wanted to get 5 years of experience my first year. Boy did I. I studied what the best did and what the whiners did. I listened to what hiccups they had and how they handled them. I learned what to do and what not to do. When I had the same situations, pop up, I was ready. Little did my clients know it was the first time I had encountered this problem. I could speak confidently due to having partnered with these other agents on their decision making.
I am a firm believer that we can speed up our learning curve this way.
“It’s important to learn from your mistakes, but it is better to learn from other people’s mistakes, and it is BEST to learn from other people’s successes. It accelerates your own success.” —Jim Rohn
I LOVE this Quote! It sums up my philosophy for the past 30 years. Imagine my happiness when I found out that my personal philosophy lined up with one of the greats!
How about you? Do you live by this best practice in your business?

Keep asking, keep learning and keep kicking butt!!!
