They happen and somehow when it is trick or treating time and little monsters come up the front steps with open bags to collect the loot assemble. To ring the door bell, shout out and vanish. To the next door around your home address. The stories increase in volume. Online you see much about haunted houses for sale around the country. Toilets flushing when no one is in the home.

Listening to foot steps on the second and third floors when there is no furniture, no one supposed to be living at this real estate address.

The one that looks neglected, that has low level Tubular Bells like in the Exorcists playing in the back ground. Heavy chains rattling, pulled along, across floors. You know what comes to mind. If someone says "hey, let's go look at the abandoned home, the haunted one" a few streets over with the broken fences that kids, dogs, everyone avoids like the plague. That's been stuck in time, suspended and just does not quite fit in with the others in the neighborhood.

Most of the stories are not about Casper the friendly ghost either.

Such an impressive looking home from the exterior and the snow on the ground for the rear photo looks like beach sand.  It would fit in perfectly in Newport.  If it's an active listing it should get a lot of attention this time of year.
