Bibles in China
A Christian radio station I listen to (KWVE 107.9), which is operated by Calvary Chapel, has announced a goal of sending 50,000 Bibles to China. They do this in conjunction with the Bible League, who can produce and ship a Bible for $4 each.
As you may well know, Christians in China don’t have the same access to Bibles that we do here. In fact, the government controls printing of Bibles, and only a token few are allowed to be printed each year.

I know a missionary that smuggles bibles into China...I am not
sure how she is doing now, but since 9-11 I am sure things are different...

Alexander: Thanks for the comment. I'm not really sure how they're getting them in. I know they did this once before, and I think they sponsored about 75,000 Bibles. So, however they're doing it, it's an awesome ministry.

I'm not sure if they're smuggling them in, paying someone off, or if they actually have permission. But they got the Bibles in last year and are wanting to do the same again this year. Especially with the Olympics going to China this year too.
