Once or twice a week I drive up I-270 with my husband to Gettysburg College where he takes a course on civil war history. We have been driving past a construction site on the left side of 270 for a year that has promised to be the home to a premium outlet location
Now, the Clarksburg Premium Outlets is opening 90 stores tomorrow from Brooks Brothers to Kate Spade to Ferragamo and Jimmy Choo and Yankee Candle. The Outlets have announced the lineup of events for the grand opening of the 392,000-square-foot, two-story venue. Activities include hourly prize giveaways, a trick-or-treat event and costume parade for kids on Saturday, jugglers, face-painting, live bands and more.
Area shoppers are invited to join the celebration Thursday, Oct. 27, through Saturday, Oct. 29. Throughout the weekend, shoppers can explore the LEED-certified luxury outlet center and enjoy an abundance of deep discounts, live entertainment, family festivities and prize giveaways.
The venue will offer shoppers a mix of fashion-forward luxury looks, accessories and home décor, all with everyday savings of 25 to 65 percent. Visitors can expect to find 90 upscale brands and eateries, a community space with covered walkways and children’s play area.
