Early Voting in Maryland

 

Early voting began today in Maryland. The lines are long but the voters were in good spirits and the staff was efficient with crowd control this morning as Dolores and I voted in Gaithersburg. There may be a record number of early voters.

It was noon when we left the voting area and Chef Dolores recommended lunch at the Dogfish Head Alehouse in Gaithersburg. We shared a pizza and Dolores had the 90 Minute IPA and I had the 60 Minute IPA. The food and beer were excellent and the service was prompt. This is a recommended way to recover from the voting process.

Hi Roy... our early voting started on October 20th and will run through November 5th. The 10 polling places were just doubled in number as of today.

Roy, I always worry that early voting will create Voter Fraud.... I just read some statistics those who vote early have had their minds made up a long time ago...Endre

Roy, The lines I understand are huge in most parts of the Houston area. I hope to early vote tomorrow..

In NC we started early voting on the 20th.  I voted yesterday.  It took an hour and a quarter but it's a relief to be done.

I voted early this week, and was glad to try and get this election off my mind.  I can never recall a campaign that has divided the populace as much as this one.  I have hopes future elections won't be as outrageous as this one!
