You're right, the road is pretty quiet and bare in front of you. Seems like more traffic the other direction. I made the mistake today of turning on a road in Elk Grove right in front of a school as it let out. Yikes! Cars were backed up in both directions and I couldn't find that button to make my car fly.

Like us you have one stoplight, but right now we don't have the rain. Will this rain soon be turning to snow for you?

I can appreciate life with little road traffic, and on days when I get to stay home it's the best!

While I enjoy the rain, I think continous rain for several days is a bit much. Perhaps its time to pass a meessage on to the 'Big Guy'?

Mark, living in an area that has some of the worst traffic in the US makes your photo a welcome site to me. I'd take the rain over the traffic any day. I'm sure it gets old when you have it day after day but, there is something peaceful about the sound of it falling. 

There are some great advantages of living in a small town, Mark.

Hi Mark --- it seems as if Southern Californians and rain are not a good combination.  Not at 6PM.  Not at 6AM.   I'm glad to see Idaho residents understand the rules of the road better or at least have the good sense to stay home.   

That rush hour traffic would be someone else's 1am traffic. The older I get the more I don't like getting hung up in traffic.

Hi Mark - Folks are going to complain about traffic no matter where they are. My 10 minute drive to work is nothing compared to commutes in larger cities I have lived in, but I'll still complain if someone is only going the speed limit : )

Mark, Hard rain or not the traffic at rush hour in your area looks pretty minor at best to me but you have to understand what I am use to here in the Houston area.. We have traffic nightmares virtually every day.. ::))))
