Good morning Joanna,
Making do with what space they have. At least they have fresh tomatoes.
Make yourself an astonishing day.
I like the juxtaposition of the pomegranetes and the laundry Nina Hollander and Barbara Todaro and this is EUROPE where people are much less worried about what the neighbors think - hanging clothes outside to dry is common!
I like your attitudes Raymond E. Camp and Harry F. D'Elia and James Dray ![]()

Good morning Endre Barath, Jr. and Jennifer Mackay and Sheila Anderson - glad you enjoyed the way people sometimes use their front steps-we have to have a sense of humor about these things! Thanks for stopping by.
Good morning Joanna Cohlan, I love this picture, more common in Europe. Thank you for sharing.

I love this too Beth Atalay - it is so European-always with the clothes hanging out to air dry!
Pomegranates and clothes pins--equally as colorful in their own version of hanging art. Thanks, missy!

My point exactly Gayle Rich-Boxman Fishhawk Lake Realtor (503)755-2905 - looks typically European and so much fun!
Joanna,
Shades of a home really lived in. We saw similar things in Italy. We just back last night....what a great time we had. A

Exactly Michael Jacobs - you get the drift!
Joanna, Agreed that this is a European thing. We don't see much of it these days ... mostly prohibited. There is character there for sure.

Hi Kathleen Daniels - yes, and that is why we used to see it in the inner cities. My grandparents used to hang the wash over the fire escape of their Lower East Side tenement apartment!
Joanna, I really love the clothes pins! They are so much more colorful than what we usually see around here!

There is a lot going on there. Not only are they living inside, part of their living is outside of the home too.
You are right Debbie Reynolds - but it's Greece so the climate is perfect for that!
Good afternoon Joanna Cohlan ,
