We have to admit, Halloween has us a little bummed out this year. We've been thinking Halloween was on a Sunday this year but thanks to a Leap Year it's actually on a Monday. That's a little upsetting! Our kids are all grown but we remember the days of feeling rushed to get all the good candy but still be in bed early enough for the early school day the next morning. So even though we are bummed for all the kids, we are glad to see that Orange County is trying to help us feel a bit better by offering some fun activities for the weekend!
This year the Central Recreation Center, located at 302 West Tryon Street, will be hosting their Halloween Spooktactular on Saturday, October 29th! Starting at 4:30, and going until 7:30, the annual Halloween party will consist of games for prizes, bounce houses, bingo, cake walks, pumpkin hunt, and concessions! This is even a free event so get the kids in their cute or scary costumes and come on out!
We hope that you and yours have a wonderful and safe Halloween! Be sure to get lots of candy and parents… be sure to give us a call if you happen to notice a home for sale on your route that you may want to check out.
