The section of Rockville Centre known as Old Canterbury is located in the north west area of the Village. It starts on DeMott Avenue and continues up Hempstead Avenue on the left and right side to, but not including Columbia Road.
The Rockville Links Club, a private golf club, is located in Old Canterbury.
The grammar school that services Old Canterbury is Hewitt and the area shares South Side Middle School and South Side High School with the rest of the Village.
