Listing Photos Gone Wrong - Photography Contest

Exterior Twilight Real Estate Photography

This is an entry in The ActiveRain 2016 Photography Contest for the category "Real Estate - Main listing photo".

I photographed this house for a listing this summer, but never sold it.  3 weeks later, the owners decided to move back in and stay a while.  I'm convinced it had something to do with how nice the pictures looked!  Who can blame them!

Damon- you make a very good point, especially if they did some preparation for the sale.  Love the photograph.

Hi Damon - That's a very nice listing photo. Sorry you didn't sell the house, but thanks for your contest entry!

Damon, you "sold yourself" right out of a listing! And no wonder....so tell me, what camera, what lens and what setting? (HDR involved at all)?

That's a beautiful shot! I'm sorry it didn't work out this time, but try again. I often hear sellers say their house looks better now than it did before the listing. Maybe that's why they call it Seller's remorse. Who wouldn't be sick of a house if it was a mess and who wouldn't want to keep it if it looked so beautiful!

Don't give up!

Oh wow, how wonderful! I have wanted to do a dusk shot, but have not yet done that. It is on my list though, because it sure does make a house scream BEAUTIFUL!

I'm jealous, LOL. Good luck in the contest!

Ahaha:) So you did such a good job marketing the house that instead of listing and selling it, they decided to love it!

Damon, I'm looking at this photo, scratching my head and thinking "This is his idea of one that went wrong?"  Now I'm chuckling.

Very pretty! I love photos at dusk with the lights on. We used a similar photo when we sold our home.
