Time is passing way too quickly for me! I need to stop sitting on the fence about a few things I want to get accomplished. In thinking about my personal goals, my mind wanders toward our business, which is teaching people how to get a real estate license or furthering their real estate education. I love what we do, I wish it could last forever! I know, however, that as each day passes, my career has one less day in it.
I hereby resolve to stop sitting on the fence! I hereby declare 2017 to be the year when I get it all done! 2017 will be the year of the bucket list if I stop sitting on the fence. Are you sitting on the fence about anything? Some of you are sitting on the fence about a career in real estate, but for your own reasons, you haven’t jumped off the fence and jumped into a new career.
The only way you will ever achieve your goal to become a real estate agent is to stop sitting on the fence. Real estate licenses take time and energy to acquire, and they are only the first step to becoming successful. It’s easy to hesitate taking that first step, but that’s why we are here. TEAM Hughes can help you once you stop sitting on the fence.
I recently read an article on the internet via Huffington Post that said all the things I want to say to you if you have a passion to sell real estate and you are still sitting on the fence. I would encourage you to read this article and then to examine how badly you want to change your career. You know, I talk with a lot of people and when asked why they want to pursue a career in real estate, the men and women who use the word, “passion” when explaining themselves to me are the ones who eagerly embrace the task of getting through a Fast Track in one week or sitting through three weeks of night classes. Their passion will not be suppressed and they will not be deterred in reaching their goal. Something burns inside of them and that’s what passion is all about.
Whether it’s real estate or something else, we all need to stop sitting on the fence! Fear of failure will cause us to fail. Richard Yates once said, “If you don’t try at anything, you can’t fail…it takes back bone to lead the life you want.” Read “30 Powerful Quotes on Failure.” Some pretty recognizable people have had something to say about our fear of failing, and that fear keeps us sitting on the fence. I, for one, am tired of sitting on the fence about a couple of items in my bucket list. It’s time to get off the fence and do these things! If a career in real estate is on your bucket list, let us help. Call or email us and stop sitting on the fence!
