So the world of marketing has evolved much over the last number of years. The fact is, the whole world of relationships has taken a new step.
A step in the right direction?
As a person who loves people and enjoys meeting, networking and engaging in conversations I must say the Internet has greatly expanded my capacity to connect.
The challenge however is the time it takes to actually get face to face interactions with Internet Leads.
I have found that Internet Leads are more impersonal than I would like as I always like to get straight to the conversation and find out how I can serve!
The folks searching online, in most cases, are searching there because they do not have to spend much of their valuable time talking. I, on the other hand, am always attempting to get to a voice or face to face conversation.
All this has created a unique opportunity for those of us "People persons" to find new and interesting ways to get the mouse clickers to engage with me!
I feel that if a person who is anonymously searching for homes on the Internet are able to see a video of me giving them great advice to aid in their search, they will eventually connect with me and we can have a face to face meeting.
So far this has proved to be true however, there is no stand pat method for convincing the searchers to either call or at least answer my calls.
I am going to keep moving forward trying new things yet at the foundation of all that is marketing, the main fact of all still remains true.
We are in a relationship business.
So everything I do is all about creating and nurturing quality relationships.
This does not always and actually seldom leads to a commission yet in the long run, as Zig Ziglar once said "if you help enough other people get what they want, you will ultimately get what you want".
What do we want? To help others and, oh by the way, get to the closing table!
