"Any fool can know. The point is to understand."
-Albert Einstein
Yesterday I wrote a blog post where I identified the basics in real estate as knowledge and competence.
To be knowledgeable in real estate is the accumulation of information and staying current with trends.
Competence in real estate is understanding what you know and how to put your knowledge to work for the benefit of your clients.
Are you knowledgeable AND competent in your business?
Good morning Carol. I truly hope so as I am the broker and I get a lot of strange calls from agents.
Good morning Carol Williams ,
Excellent quote because it is so true! I do believe strongly I am competent and knowledgeable in real estate..my clients count on it!

Carol, another important component is education. Will Hamm touched on this in his comment. Our business is constantly changing and to have knowledge and be competent we need to continue to learn!

Hi Carol - I certainly strive to be both. Knowledge alone is not power. Applying it through competence is.
