All Things Come to Pass in Real Estate and Politics Eventually
Thoughts for the Day at Hand
As a committed real estate agent in an environment that is challenged by politics, I can say that the two are not too far apart on the spectrum of working together. We have seen how Congress in the past several years has refused to work together and what have we achieved as a country to be proud of? Not much. We have seen it in real estate in the past by irresponsible lending and agents who would sell anything to anybody to make money. Thereby the housing debacle of 2008. Does a new President and Republican Congress bring salvation to this country? I think not when half the people in this country thought the other person belonged at the top post. But there is always hope...
Yet we always say in real estate that we work hard 'together' to get the job done for the home buyer and seller. The satisfaction of the client is of utmost importance. How is that different from the new regime that will lead the U.S. economy? Because there is still an underdog and minority party that has their agenda as different as it is from the majority but hope is always there.
Reaching out in politics and real estate for the good of what is in front of us and to throw those barricades aside is our hope always. Let's hope we can be united and reach compromise and if not unlike real estate the people have 4 years to wait to make another change!
There is no doubt that real estate is easier than politics in the long run if done responsibly.
