Real Estate & Politics - It Is About Making It Work For the Client

All Things Come to Pass in Real Estate and Politics Eventually

Thoughts for the Day at Hand

As a committed real estate agent in an environment that is challenged by politics, I can say that the two are not too far apart on the spectrum of working together.  We have seen how Congress in the past several years has refused to work together and what have we achieved as a country to be real estate & politicsproud of?  Not much.  We have seen it in real estate in the past by irresponsible lending and agents who would sell anything to anybody to make money.  Thereby the housing debacle of 2008.  Does a new President and Republican Congress bring salvation to this country?  I think not when half the people in this country thought the other person belonged at the top post.  But there is always hope...

Yet we always say in real estate that we work hard 'together' to get the job done for the home buyer and seller.  The satisfaction of the client is of utmost importance.  How is that different from the new regime that will lead the U.S. economy?  Because there is still an underdog and minority party that has their agenda as different as it is from the majority but hope is always there.

Reaching out in politics and real estate for the good of what is in front of us and to throw those barricades aside is our hope always.  Let's hope we can be united and reach compromise and if not unlike real estate the people have 4 years to wait to make another change!

There is no doubt that real estate is easier than politics in the long run if done responsibly.

Good morning, Ginny Gorman I think once the dust settles, and it will, the real estate market will improve....it's not bad right now.... I keep digging and I seem to find what I'm looking.... similar to how Trump works....just keep digging and don't focus on what others say....

Good morning Ginny. I can never remember a time in my life when I was so disheartened and frankly embarrassed. It is hard and sad but everyday is still new and there are no choices but to move forward.

If you were on the NAR election webinar yesterday you would have found out that 90% of the national candidates who consistently support real estate won, and this is another victory for NAR advocacy and RPAC. These came from both parties.

Ginny the present administration did a horrible job in address the needs of the housing market, so the bar is not set very high for the new administration to improve on it.  I look forward to a new direction, and hopefully a focus on our country instead of self interests.

This election will give people pause....again...to see if popular makes more sense than the electoral college.....which never made sense to many people.
