The Pleasure of Home

I lose what I have when I go to the big city. 

I know right away what Ihave lostif I don't return home

Mark there is no place like home.  There may not be anything special about it, but to us no other place could ever compare.

Mark- this is so true, and home is different for all of us. I have to laugh because when we visit Iowa and Larry's family farm, after miles and miles of corn and country roads, I'm ready to head towards exactly what you prefer to get away from. 

I love going home no matter how much I have enjoyed my trip away. There is just something special about the familiar and sleeping in our own beds.

Mark sorry to hear that it was an emergency trip... then to top it off to be put in a sardine can environment.... ironically I remember when my father got to be in his 60's he said he would only travel in business class... and I understand why.... Endre

Hi Mark - Great photos. Mary and I have ridden our tandem a couple of times in the Coeur d'Alene area, and it is truly beautiful country and easy to fall in love with.

Mark Don McInnes, Sandpoint Your photos are beautiful.  Living in North Idaho looks very relaxing and serene to me.  Having grown up in New York City, I think of south Florida as calm - but it's nowhere as calm as Idaho.  And, you're right; there's no place like home.

Small pleasures make all the difference, whether it's the night sky or a simple meal. It'll make a difference.
