My goal was to reach the 2 Million ActiveRain point milestone by the end of 2016. When recent Contest points were awarded I realized I might be there by the end of this month.
Not only are contests fun, they all have points associated with them which is a good incentive for self-confessed point junkies.
I reached the 2 Million Point Milestone on Sunday, November 13, 2016.
I truly feel like I missed my own party. I was in back to back appointments from early Sunday morning and did not return home until nearly 10pm. Many members were congratulating me on reaching the milestone. I've been so busy I am only now finding the time to write about my journey.
My Journey To 2 Million
This is truly something to celebrate. It has been one wild ride for sure. When I joined ActiveRain I did not really understand what the community was all about. I received a "free" coaching call wherein I learned that I am a "nobody in real estate if I am not part of the ActiveRain community."
Well Holy Gads ... I wanted to be a somebody in real estate so I joined immediately following that free coaching call.
The jury is still out on me being a somebody or a nobody in real estate.
As I ponder how I will share my journey I know there are truly no words that can effectively express what the ActiveRain community means to me. It is something that one must experience.
I believe that what we get from our experiences is a measure of what we put in. The ActiveRain community is all about giving, sharing, teaching, caring, and more. Real connections are made here. Real friendships are established here.
There is no way to truly measure what the ActiveRain community has done for my business or how I have grown personally. I have learned so much. The real kicker is that the education here is ... essentially ... free.
The connections and friendships I have made are ... priceless.
Meet-Ups are great fun and provide opportunities to meet members face to face. The ability to look someone in the eyes and hug them enhances the connections already made.
I Did Not Get Here Alone
I owe a special thanks to everyone who has commented on my posts, re-blogged my posts, to the Feature Fairies for featuring my posts, and to the countless number of members who support me in ways that cannot be measured in points. THANK YOU.
This post would not be complete if I did not say I miss the hell-o out of Kerrie La Guardia. The ActiveRain community has undergone so many changes. I feel I have adapted to all of them yet I have not stop missing Kerrie and what she brought to the community.
I want thank Ben Kinney, Bob Stewart and the entire ActiveRain Staff for all of their hard work and dedication to improving the platform and providing the opportunity to learn, grow and have fun!!
Many of my clients found me online via an ActiveRain blog post. Many of my clients were referred to me by other ActiveRain members. The connections made here among top real estate professionals cannot be understated.
If you need a referral to an outstanding top real estate professional in an area outside of San Jose and Silicon Valley then let me know. I promise to connect you with an agent that will take excellent care of your needs.
