No Moon!

Real Estate Broker/Owner with WHISPERING PINES REALTY 20398180

Yesterday I posted a pic of the moon, but it was not a classy photo.

Very hard to hold the camera steady.

So, today I went a bought a tripod.

My wife wanted closer photo's and with my big lens, there was noway to hold steady for a clear closeup.

I changed lenses and mounted the camera to the tripod.

Loaded it into the car to go to a neighbor who has a better view than we do with all the trees.

I get set up and notice...CLOUDS!!!

Clouds were moving in and fast.

So, There are NO great photo's like I imagined I would have to share.

It won't be the same, but maybe next month!

Ok, now this is a photo from my deer stand last night.

Now just imagine what it would have looked like clear and no tree limbs.

What an awesome view I didn't get!

We had a lot of clouds here in Charlotte too William but our news crews got a really good picture before it got too bad. You "one upped" them though

I still think that is still a pretty good photo of the moon ... a different perspective maybe with the trees ... good nonetheless.

I cannot find my tripod, and I did get photos yesterday. What I had to do to get that camera to be as still as possible! I wanted to post it, but haven't gotten to that yet.

No matter, the photo is great, and you got to see it up close and personal! That's how I look at it. We have too much cloud activity to see it tonight.

Good morning William. M wife and I went out last night to see the super moon.  Clouds kept getting into the way, when they cleared we could not get a good shot.  Sigh

I really like the picture with the tree limbs as it's gives a better depth perception, in my humble opinion.

I think it looks pretty cool the way that it is and I like the look through the tree branches, looks very mysterious.

Hey Bill.  Clouds here also.  But at least you got a shot from the day before.  But, in your deer stand?  Who is watching for the deer?

Good morning William. I have never gotten a good moon shot. I think the tripod will make a difference. I like your shot.

I like the branches in the shot Bill, seems to add perspective and somewhat frame the shot.
