Rapid Economic Growth Expected in Washington County Utah.

Lieutenant Governor Spencer Cox, on a recent visit to southern Utah discussed future growth with Mayor Jon Pike, and Housing Authority Director Mike Barben and also made a trip to discover the All Abilities Park St George on the St. George Area Economic Development tour.
According to the Utah Department of Workforce Services, an economic snapshot report of Washington County shows a nearly 370 percent increase in the value of non-residential construction sites so far in 2016. Historically, as residential market sales improve, commercial growth follows.
Additionally, Washington County, Utah is expected to have the biggest population increase between 2010 and 2050, doubling it's current numbers by adding 175,000 people to its population, according to a research report by the Utah Foundation. (Information taken from Spectrum online news)
