A Full Moon Ceremony with 8 Lovely Ladies

Unless you live in a cave, you probably know that last night was the peak of the Super Full Moon that we are lucky enough to witness this year.  It has been many years since the moon was this close to the earth and it was magnificent.

My daughter Erin Bates and I hosted a ladies night Full Moon Ceremony at my house.  There was lots of food, laugh and good spirits (in all forms).

Once everyone had their fill of food and drink, we got down to business.

Erin instructed our guest to think about what they wanted to release in this intentions ceremony and what they wanted to invite into their lives.

She brought many wonderful herbs and invited all the ladies to make herb pouches to take with them to remind them of the intentions they released this night.

Comfrey Root - provides safety in travels, relaxation in your temples and peace.

Know They Mother Root - Assists in walking with righteousness, non-judgment, compassion, and love towards all.

Blackberry Leaf - Good fortune, prosperity & success.  Cleanses energy fields and helps provide strength in curbing the expressions of negative emotions.

Hyssop - Helps sustain momentum and purify intentions.

Sunflower Petals - Brings the Divine Light of the Cosmos into your life.

The ladies took from each jar and created their own herb pouch which they can enjoy in the days ahead.

Once we went around the circle sharing what we wanted to release and attract, they created a bag with their intentions and a Spring Bulb to plant with their bulb in the autumn ground.  As their spring flower blooms, their intentions will become stronger with the constant reminder of their wishes in the days ahead.

Everyone left our house feeling warm and energized.

It was so nice to share a special evening with these ladies.

Oh my Belinda, now how much fun is that! We couldn't see the  moon, too many clouds. I got good shots the night before though. I love, love, love what you did!!!!

I have never heard of a full  moon ceremony but I like the idea of the reminder the spring bulb will bring. Looks like a nice night of sharing a special experience.

Belinda, Sounds like a fun ladies night out. The moon was something else and very special last night but my phone/camera does not capture the details like your picture.

That's going all out and is a throw back to the old days of harvest ceremonies. Very Druid like!

I would have filled my pouch with Hyssop and Know They Mother Root.  Sounds like a fun time.
