Today, November 26th Is Small Business Saturday and the Saybrook Chamber of Commerce is encouraging everyone to show their support for their local small business today.

On second thought we need to show your support for small businesses everyday by shopping at your local small businesses.  Our small businesses do a lot to support our communities and deserve our support year round.

Besides asking everyone to support small businesses today, the Old Saybrook Chamber of Commerce will be providing promo materials such as

George,  We are a small business.  We need to support small business owners every day of the year. It's great to have a designated day ... especially as we launch into massive Christmas holiday shopping.

Good evening George Souto ,  I remember when I was a kid,  the businesses in our town was locally owned.  Only the big cities had big box stores.  It was so personalback then. Our community here is Elkhart and Goshen are returning to those times.  It's really exciting!
