Day 2 of 10 Day Thanksgiving Challenge | Home Sweet Home
Growing up in a transient environment, moving from state-to-state as a military brat, I knew that when I began a family that I would remain in one place. No more picking everything up and heading to another destination every other year. We've been here for 18 years and have found our happily ever after, right here, right now, with no plans to relocate.
Home is more than perimeter walls with systems in place on a piece of dirt. To me, it is a haven, where I can take my shoes off at the end of the day and be me. A gathering place for families and friends, special occasions spent delving into the past while enjoying the present. I honestly think this is why the real estate industry found me, the power of attraction runs true.
Raising our children in the same place has brought about many amazing memories. All I have to do is glance around to see where they hunted Easter eggs, played cars in the sand, caught a football, shot hoops on the basketball court, built a snowman during a freak blizzard, where they rode bicycles around the dirt track their dad built for them...
We love to garden, sharing time in a beautiful space created together with water features, raised beds, yearly plantings and abundant harvests. Every night when resting my head on the pillow, I appreciate that we are blessed with our own Home Sweet Home. It's where we reside, there's no other that quite compares and still remains our happy place!
A grateful and thankful heart here who also loves helping others find their own Home Sweet Home with Smiles All Around!
