October was a great month for the Lake Oconee real estate market! There were 69 transactions last month which is up from 59 in September. Usually sales in our area start to slow down as we head into Fall and the holiday season, but we didn't experience that downward trend last month.
Below are a few highlights from the October 2016 Lake Oconee real estate market:
- 49 residential properties and 20 land lots sold
- 32 were in the gated golf communities
- 18 of the properties sold were in Reynolds Lake Oconee
- 45 were in Greene County, 19 were in Putnam County, and 5 were in Morgan County
- 24 lakefront properties sold
- 13 golf course properties sold
