35 Years of Joy - Thanksgiving Challenge - Day 2
Evelyn and I both had the experience of a previous marriage before we met one evening in San Clemente, California. I am thankful for that evening, even though there was a slight misunderstanding, when we decided to meet for coffee, but that's another story.
We were married in November, and never looked back. (We were too busy going forward). We had many experiences throughout those 35 years, but I would not trade them for anything. Even living in a motor homes for almost 20 years, being together 24/7, we had the time of our lives on the art circuit.
Everything that one of us did, the other was there to help and for support. I won't go into all the things we did or the places we went. We chose that lifestyle while we were young enough to enjoy it, instead of waiting until retirement and then being too old to do anything.
I Thank Evelyn Johnston with all my heart for those 35 years and look forward to many more adventures together, whatever they may be. I may forget to express my feelings often enough, so thank you Debbie Reynolds for hosting this challenge, to express what we are thankful for this Thanksgiving.
