I love movies. My all time favorite movie is: "It's A Wonderful Life."
I also love: "Sweet Home Alabama", "Overboard", "Selena" and "You've Got Mail."
Why am I thankful for movies? They often teach great life lessons. For example, in "It's a Wonderful Life", George Bailey learns how much of a positive impact he had on all the people in his life.
I have a nickname that came from a movie. A good friend and I were on a road trip once. She made a comment about my driving. When she did that I looked at her and called her Thelma, she immediately caught the analogy and called me Louise. Ever since then we have called each other Thelma and Louise. The main life lesson I learned from "Thelma and Louise" was: "Don't get into trouble with the law, but if you do for heaven's sake, don't drive off a cliff!"
