I am grateful for our Animal Farm....

Real Estate Agent with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices 01238708

First, I must say I am grateful just to be able to post my fourth day in a row about being ’Grateful’. Taking into consideration the crazy day I had, I did not have the confidence, that I could do this today. It is not about what to write, rather it is about finding the time to write.  Debbie Reynolds  thank you for challenging me to do this ten days in a row.

Internally I am always very appreciative and grateful for what we have in our lives. Now today I will focus on our ‘Animal Farm’.

I am so grateful that Schmoie our dog is so attached to Diane and me, that total love and affection is hard to put into words. He gives us equal time at different times of the day, sometimes he is my dog and other times he is Diane’s dog depending on the time of day. He should be a diplomat in the political arena.

I am truly grateful that he tolerates the rest of the animal farm as well, now keep in mind we also have three cats, Jill the resident instigator of all mishaps, the instigator of conflicts and the list goes on and on. Jack the laid-back cat with whom he initially did not get along with and was constantly looking to let him know their dislike. Well they managed to put their differences aside like Democrats & Republicans in the political arena. They are respectful of each other and tolerate each other.

Then for him to put up with the newest addition Wiley our back-yard kitty who joined the household barely two months ago, is truly impressive. After all he does remember their skirmishes in the back yard and he has a scratch on his nose to remind him. (unless he has doggy Alzheimer’s)

Not only am I grateful that all in all everyone is getting along and all appreciate their care takers’ good intention. More so I am grateful that we can provide them with the healthcare that they deserve and not always appreciate. I am also grateful that we can afford the financial obligations and burdens that go along with this healthcare.

Now with that said if you are looking for a Pet Friendly Realtor in the Greater Los Angeles area, please reach out to me, I will be grateful and you will be too.

Hi Endre.  Looks like a full house.  Too bad that Schmoie is so outnumbered by his feline housemates.

I hear you, Endre, about the expense of healthcare for your pets. Here in Sac, it costs $500 and up just to have your cat's teeth cleaned. It's outrageous. We spend thousands, so much that I have had to set up a category for cat care in Quicken.

P. S. I really like that middle photo. What personality and positioning!!

Hi Endre - Compared to you, we have an excess of dogs and a shortage of cats, but somehow, they all find a way to co-exist more or less peacefully. And our gratitude for the enrichment they bring to our lives is only exceeded by their love for us.

Hi Endre

What a wonderful animal farm you have! Sounds like they all co-exist fairly well but I bet there is a pecking order!

We only have cats (3) and that's plenty - they keep us busy and entertained, and we love having them around, at least most of the time.

Hi Endre --- while I can't always match the names to the members of your feline family(that canine guy is easy to spot) I do know that your home is a haven for the pets fortunate enough to live there.   And the two human companions are pretty lucky too.
