Being Comfortable

By

We recently started going to another church.  The church we used to go to was very good and some of the best people you would ever meet.  Why did I leave you ask?  We wanted praise and worship music.  The church we found is awesome and we like it very much.  The preaching is great and the music is worthy of paying to see.  Just what we were looking for.  Sometimes you get comfortable where you are even though you are not happy and not growing.  We have gone from not wanting to go to not wanting to miss.

Sometimes this is what you need in business too.  Just because you work where you do does not mean this is where you should be. An example of this is when I left the biggest company in the area and went to the company with a balloon.  I was comfortable there making good money and not looking for anything else.  About 6 months ago, actually for 3 years, I decided I wanted something else and decided to open my own company and hire agents to work at our company.  I have now done so and agents are calling on me.  Why?  They are wanting the same thing.

If you are at a business rather it be a doctor, attorney, realtor or whatever and you are comfortable and not happy then you may need to move on too.  Being comfortable is only pleasant and not happy.

Sometimes you need to get outside the box to see your future for what it needs to be.

Pretty courageous starting your own business...but knowing where you are comfortable (your brokerage) is best. Good luck!
