Grateful in Sandpoint Idaho for my Mentors - Day 5
From my high school football days to present I have be fortunate to always seem have someone willing to teach, advise, motivate and guide me. While that may sound simple it has come with many different moves both location and career wise.
From Southern California with football, to Navy, construction in San Fernado Valley California, Snow Making - Northstar at Lake Tahoe, Transportation and Parking manager Northstar at Tahoe, Highway paving Reno Nevada, Road Maintenace at Schweitzer Ski Resort, Stocking Groceries Bonners Ferry Idaho, Head Rig Operator Naples Idaho Mill, to Realtor Idaho.
I am so fortunate that with every stop there was someone willing to take me under their wing and teach me. Show me the ropes. I can remember their spoken advice, a direction, or look from each mentor along the way. They have remained with me a life time. While the road may have led the same direction I know I have missed many potholes along the way because of these fine people. 'Inspirational and motivational' alone does not do any one of them justice.
And I must add that with, what I hope to be, my final career move in North Idaho I have found not just one but many, mentors, teachers, inspirational people. What a fortunate person I am to be in contact with these high quality people on almost a daily basis. Grateful and lucky I am indeed.
