Do you still rent an apartment or do you still live with your parents? Don't you ever wish you can move into a space you can call your own? How do you know when the right time is? Here are the telltale signs that should move you into thinking and decide that it's really time for you to buy your own house.

Rental cost is shaving your budget for other things.

Though rental fee is generally fixed for a year or as stipulated in the lease contract, time will come that your landlord will impose increases. You may not notice its effect on your budget at first, but when it starts to eat up your allocations for other things - it is not a good sign. The amount that you are paying on your monthly rental can already constitute your monthly mortgage for the dream house of your choice. The big difference lies on ownership. With the monthly mortgage, you are paying for your own house. With the monthly rental, you are paying for a house that is only under your care.

You already have your family.

While you are among the responsibilities of your parents and it is their duty to give you decent shelter, the situation becomes entirely different when you're off to raising your own family. What was once their duties and responsibilities become yours for the taking. There's no rule preventing you and your own family to live with your parents but a lot of things like misunderstanding can arise. These instances can be minimized or avoided at all if you are living in your own house. Besides, it is a fulfillment if you can provide a house to your own family - a house they can truly call their own and a house which is the product of your own hard work, savings, and determination.

Privacy is compromised.

Living with your parents can compromise your privacy and vice versa. This is true for the cases of bachelors who do not only have active professional lives, but also have active social and sex lives. Visitors can frequent you for a lot of purposes like sleepovers, business matters, and behind-closed-door things. These activities can be compromised because of the presence of other family members - not in the sense that it will not push through - but you should know how awkward it can get especially if there are children. How would you want your little brother barge in your room as you and your girlfriend are passionately kissing? How would you react if your teenage sister tells you she can't concentrate on her review because you and your friends are laughing and talking loudly while drinking some wine?
