1) Develop your Budget and Income Stream by December 15th. based on your pipeline and your last year performance, build your Income Stream for 2017, your plan is comprised of many activities which must be performed on a constant basis. Get one coach out of your office who can make you accountable to meet those tasks. This will guarantee that you stay focus in your program with no distractions and not working by accident.
2) Hold at least Two Client Appreciation Events
Hold a couple of client appreciation events to celebrate with your clients your success and to make them to be part of it.
3) Expand Your Education
Learning is earning. Plan to obtain a certification that goes with your plan, if you already have it, look for CE classes that can enhance your knowledge. It is not only "Who you Know", it is also "What you Know".
4) Get a License Admin Assistant
The real estate practice, requires to invest lots of time in admin tasks, taking that valuable raw material away from your more productive activities. You should be out there getting listings and not embedded in all that $15.00 an hour paper work. You must consider this when preparing your budget in 1). Start with a part time assistant and as business grow, make it a full-time position.
5) Weekly Monitoring
You cannot wait one month to review your performance, it may be too late. You must check your activities/performance on a weekly basis so you can modify, add or improve your tasks.
By the way this applies for commercial and residential practice as well. In fact, these rules apply to every profession, "elementary my dear Watson"
