Thankful for weekly recycling collections in Kentlands

Recycling programs, like garbage pickups, are something we rarely stop to think about. So many things we take for granted without actively appreciating them.

Recycling is a great thing to be thankful for and even better that ot's provided by your community. I suspect some don't take as much advantage of this as they could. Our community does the same.

My recycling was picked up this morning. Feels good to know it's not just ending up in a landfill somewhere.

yes, recycling collections are great. Our will be on Tuesday instead of Wednesday this week.

Hi Roy! Thank you for acknowledging recycling. It is a small effort that hopefully will product big results. I thank people in my building when I see them recycle. Usually they are from other parts of the country or world where recycling is mandatory. 

That is a good service to have. Thank you for sharing what you are thankful for.

Recycling is a very important task for helping mother nature and have a wonderful Thanksgiving week ahead ...

The type of services you mentioned is greatly appreciated. Yet, many take the services for granted. I remember years, decades ago when I heard on the news there was a strike in NY and the trash wasn't being collected. Of course, that was before recycling was even thought of but it sure caused havoc! 

I'm sure glad cities have recycling programs and it doesn't all end up in the landfill. This is a great thing for all of us to be thankful for. Thank you for thinking of it!
