Day 9 of 10 Thanksgiving Challenge | Honesty
There are many aspects about HONESTY that ring true and relate to every day living. The success of every relationship depends on integrity. When shopping for a new dress with a friend, I'd want that person to relay candidly whether it looked good or not.
HONESTY can be tough to take at times, even jarring. I'd rather hear the truth than be in denial, especially when facing challenging situations. Truth in business between parties is expected. Some people fall short, while others remain genuine when following through.
Much of what is passing as news today is not truth. We are living in the National Enquirer era of news reporting. As consumers, we must verify before trusting any news outlet. Apparently, driving traffic to their media sites is more important than HONESTY and accuracy.
TRUST is much like building a house. If the foundation is built strong, it will sustain inclement weather but when based on deceitful practice, it quickly becomes unsafe. Thankful for trustworthy people who lead with HONESTY personally and professionally.
GRATEFUL to be in their company and in the words of Benjamin Franklin...
