CA Brokers Exam Questions | It is quite the task to study and blog!

Yes! I said it! It is quite the task!  My brain does not work like it use to! So, I am going to tell you, "under 40"! Take it now before  your memory goes....

I feel like I cannot retain as much as I use to. Or better statement is.... Learning and retaining came so easy, once upon a time. LOL~

Let's get the Ginkgo Biloba ordered STAT! Lauren Selinsky Broker for California Real Estate

I know I humor myself constantly these days...

Now, let's get to the Broker questions. Why the HELL does the BRE ask a question with a possible two right answers? I know..... I must not know the answer! But I do! I know real estate in 29 years front and back, so I thought!

I can tell you one thing!

I know >>>

A. Liquidated damages I "do" know quite well. Since I read that to "every" client for the past 29 years! (more than the average bear!)

B. I know the term "USURY" now. (I am ok telling you I didn know till now)

C. Never thought "conduit" would be in my Broker exam. OK electricians out there you are mentioned! ( I am not kidding...LOL)

and I won't bore you with it all, but lastly...

D. Structural Pest Control Report..... I never in the entire world think or thought the BRE could come up with 1,000 ways to tell you how a report can or cannot be given. (my family is the "grandfather" of home inspections and has had a company in TX since the 70's) I can tell you  I Know !! Home Inspections, but I can guarantee you that I got that question asked 1,000 diff ways. wrong!!! Why not just ask, who gets the report? NO!  They have to ask..... everything, but how you know the answer and knowledge and with a foreign language involved.

So, Thanksgiving is here and I am thankful most of all this is over and I am going to enjoy the year with being Thankful for waking up to be with m14-year old son and finishing the year with MORE BLOGGING from my desktop because I can't blog from my iPhone any longer since the new VAMP! THAT WILL BE ANOTHER BLOG. Stay tuned.

Good morning Lauren. I didn't get into real estate until I was 58 so my brain was already fried.  I did make it pass the brokers exam at 60.  Such a short time ago.

I'm with you on the difficulty of a brokers exam. When I was licensed in Oklahoma in 1989 it took me less than an hour to pass and only becasue I am obsiessive on double checking. On the brokers exam later in life it took all of 4 hours which was the time limit, and afterwards I wasn't sure if I passed which I did. Experience didn't amount to much of an advantage.

Lauren Selinsky CRS ePro you know what the issue is...they do not ask you the questions...they try to trick you into giving the wrong answers.

The people whom designed these questions were probably never in Real Estate.  They probably did class work, but never actually partake in a transaction or anything.  Too funny, loved the rant!;)
