Sales of heavy trucks, those weighing over seven tons, peaked at a seasonally adjusted rate of 555,000 in August of 2006, but then buckled in the Great Recession to 181,000 by May of 2009.
Sales then quickly recovered to 479,000 by June of 2015 then fell to just 370,000
this past July due to the oil price collapse.
Since then, sales have flattened and now stand at 374,000.
Hopefully, the oil related sales collapse is over.
Hopefully, we can approve the home sales in Orlando too.
