Thanksgiving is a holiday special to America, although other countries too have adopted the concept of a day of gratitude. In a desire to live a more purposeful live, I am taking the time to pause and express thanks!
First, I thank all of the clients and customers over the year that we have been given the privilege and pleasure to work with. On an average annual basis it is usually around one hundred families and over the years has grown into the thousands. It is because of clients that we can proclaim the Keller Williams motto: “A career worth having, a business worth owning and a life worth living!” Our team believes in long term relationships, treasures repeat clients and considers all that we serve to be “customers for life!”
There is a scene in the classic movie “It’s a Wonderful Life” where the father shares a profound statement with the son played by Jimmy Stewart: There is a fundamental human need for shelter and in their own small way when they as a business help people satisfy that need it can be very meaningful. That to me is the core reason that I pause to give thanks this week – I have been so richly blessed with this opportunity of a profession. It is noble to help people with one of their most important decisions – thank you.
Thanks too to those that I work most closely with on a daily basis. My business partner Lizzy Conroy makes every day a pleasure with her positive can-do attitude and spirit. This year my husband Andy oversaw business operations with aplomb which consistently helped to make my life run more smoothly. Our staff supports the team by keeping us organized and on track, happy to be of service. The Associate Agents in the group are willing and able to take care of potential customers and clients with professionalism and a smile. The group is a “team” where truly “together everyone achieves more”.
A real estate agent or business would not be successful for long without a strong Broker and capable back office support. The Realtor® community network is a key aspect to successful transactions and includes local cooperative agents as well as referral agents near and far. Allied resources and vendors provide ancillary services that are paramount to meet client’s needs during the buying and selling process. All contribute in their way and I express gratitude for contributing to our success.
As you can see, it is difficult to be inclusive as there are so many to thank. I appreciate the opportunity to pause at this special time of year and express my heartfelt appreciation.
