When you go over the river and through the woods for Thanksgiving dinner, there is often an opportunity for a cow photo or two.  And coming home this morning,  this pretty lady decided she would pose for me.  She even flipped her right ear a bit when she posed for me.

I hope my friends here on ActiveRain enjoy the rest of the holiday weekend - even if you're working!

The facial markings on that cow are very interesting, Patricia!  You can almost look into its soul through its eyes.

No cows where I live, but I did spend these days in Topanga mountains where many residents have horses:)

Pat,

Love the cow picture.  We have to go further out into the Santa Ynez valley to see her cousins, and I always enjoy that.  A

Patricia,  The cow is striking a pose and being thankful it is not a turkey. Maybe its turn to be part of a feast is right around the corner.

That's a great photo!  I like the expression on the cow's face.

Hi Pat - Nice cow to add to your collection. Don't tell her we had prime rib instead of turkey.

Too bad you couldn't find Seth Godin's Purple Cow. That would have been quite a picture!

Myrl, the cow's eyes were beautiful.  And the ears really got my attention.

Aleandra,  I love leaving town like this!  It's like the Fresh Air Fund kids when I lived in New York.
