A Walk in the Park

The weather was nice the day after Thanksgiving, so I decided to take a walk at Bellevue State Park, just 5 minutes from my home in Wilmington, Delaware.

It was calm and quiet, not many people on the walking track. In warmer weather, there would have been more visitors than the few I saw playing Frisbee golf, or the 2 people who were fishing in the pond. Yet the reflection of the stone wall next to a bridge caught my attention, so I am sharing it with you.

Bellevue

Hope you had a great Thanksgiving.

Carolyn, the stark beauty of this is quite fetching in its simple way. Isn't it the best to have a park almost all to yourself sometimes?? I just took a run this morning with my dogs on Greasy Spoon Road (the stupid hunters are finally done for the season) and it was gloriously quiet, with just the lightest sound of the occasional bird, but the three of us had the woods all to ourselves!!

Carolyn, that is a lovely photo of the Park and very serene. A great place for some quiet time especially when there were not many people around.

Carol- I can see why you chose it.  I love seeing the reflection of the wall and trees in the water.
