A Place to Go Near Land Park for Sacramento Dim Sum

By
Real Estate Agent with Elizabeth Anne Weintraub, Broker DRE #00697006

There are many places in Sacramento that serve dim sum, but one of our favorite restaurants is close to our home in Land Park. It's not as good as, say, Chinatown in San Francisco, but it's respectably delicious. My husband and I tend to consume a lot of dim sum. In fact, we were married over dim sum in Minneapolis. It's true. We decided on a judge to marry us, and when we asked how we should compensate him, he suggested dim sum.

It was my idea to combine dim sum with our wedding, I mean, as long as we were already there, why not kill 3 birds with one stone, as brutal and awful as that saying goes. Why did I say that? That's a very nasty image, shame on me. Well, you can read more in my personal blog today at this link: Sacramento Dim Sum Brightens a Sleepy Saturday.

I want to say the first time I had ever heard of Dim Sum was in the movie "Working Girl" and now every time I hear of it, I picture her pushing the Dim Sum cart throughout the party, steaming her face the entire time.  Sorry, I got a little off track with that memory, but it is a strong one!  LOL

Hi, Elizabeth...the food in the picture looks delicious and there's a lot of it, too.

Hi Elizabeth -- there's nothing quite like Dim Sum.  I can't imagine experiencing unless its via cart delivery versus home delivery.  Of course, that doesn't include any leftovers the next day where it seems Adam has you covered.

Susan Haughton When I think of Working Girl, it makes me think of the Staten Island Ferry, which then makes me think about Amy Schuler in Trainwreck. LOL.

Debbie Laity That's one of good things about dim sum, there always seems to be a lot leftover that you can take home. I'm still working on our order of sesame balls because it seems a little piggy to eat all 4 in one sitting. My wedding cake was a sesame ball.
