Is the Christmas season a good time to sell your home?

By
Real Estate Agent with Austin Texas Homes

I am asked from time to time what the best season is to sell a home. The answer is...It depends

1. On the local market

2. On the location, condition and demand for the home being sold

I have sold homes in every season. I sold my own home 1 week before Christmas for near full price several years back. If you need to sell your home in the Austin/Round Rock market right now could be a great time. Contact me and let me take a close look and provide a FREE market analysis.

Good morning Alan.  There is no bad time to sell.  People are looking year round for that new home.  Why not now?

Hi Alan, home buyers are out searching for their dream home all year, including Christmas time. However, sellers must understand the fact they have to make their home available to show regardless of their hectic schedule.
