Annual city tree lighting ceremony at Five Points Plaza, featuring a holiday reading, horse drawn trolley rides, dancing, singing, Jolly Trolley rides, free children’s activities and a chance to donate to your favorite local charities. Items needed include: food for FOOD BANK OF ENC; Pet supplies/food for PITT CO. HUMANE SOCIETY; Non-perishable foods for SALVATION ARMY; and supplies/food for Ronald McDonald House.
