I'm trying to figure out which CRM to use.  I've been considering Ixact Contact and two others ... just don't want to make a decision until I have determined which one really would be the easiest and best for me.

Wouldn't a 90 day trial period be better to evaluate any CRM effectiveness and if it is an invaluable tool after 90 days, wouldn't the users continue using the CRM and pay for the service from day 1, wouldn't you?

I am in the same situation. I've got a conference this morning with a guy who says they can help me determine which CRM is best for me and this service is free. I've been thinking about IXACT since it links into my MRIS database. Seems like if you enter your information once into MRIS, then you don't have to duplicate your efforts in keeping two databases. After I talk with this rep this morning, maybe I'll set up a call to do the IXACT free trial. I'm have a limited budget, though, and trying to get the best one for my dollar.

I agree, choosing the right CRM is very important. It is not just for keeping a list of leads and sending email messages. It is a tool that allows you to pursue new leads, maintain communication with clients, track date, automate your work-flow, and increase overall efficiency by building relationships that create a large pool of repeat and referral business.
