Hi there Hannah Williams and Ron and Alexandra Seigel and Sheri Sperry - MCNE® - thanks for stopping by. I do think this was a great shot-not something I would frame for the house but definitely caught at just the right time. The bird is looking away, almost with guilt!

Good morning, Joanna --- I like the way you captured the texture on the bird as well as the penetrating eyes.
Thanks Michael Jacobs and don't you think he looks a little guilty eating that fish? It isn't lobster!!!

Joanna -- Guilty? Maybe. Perhaps protective of his "catch of the day".
Good morning Joanna. What a shot, that look in his eyes tells me that's his food and he is going to protect it at all cost. I think I would leave him alone and let him enjoy his meal
Absolutely James Dray - that is exactly what Michael Jacobs - do you guys have some insider info on these birds and their prey?

WOW - those eyes of steel! What an amazing shot, Joanna Cohlan - so crisp and clear - nature at its finest!
That is a great shot. That stare brings cold chills of the power the bird contains. Hope you are doing well, Joanna.
Thanks for stopping by my two Debs Debe Maxwell and Debbie Reynolds . I know, his eyes of steel really tell you that he is very intent on finishing his prey. Hope you are having a great season Debbie Reynolds and wishing you both wonderful holidays!
That's the perfect title for the perfect picture. When it comes to what animals eat, we have no right to judge. That bird is doing what comes naturally. I couldn't imagine extinction for that amazing creature!
Joanna, my GAWD, this is magnificent!!! Oh, and I see someone else used that word. Honestly, JC, this is one of your all-time best. Where in the world did you take it??
Hi there Patricia Feager - of course we can not judge what they eat. Look at what we eat???
